Registration for Individuals (CPF), is the foreigner's registration in the Federal Revenue Service. This document is required for the practice of various civil acts in Brazil, such as opening bank accounts, filing Taxes, acquiring business and professional licenses, purchasing and leasing real estate, participating in companies, participating in legal proceedings, trading in Brazil, Power of Attorneys, building credit and many other acts. It may also be obtained by foreigners residing abroad, without the need to be in Brazil.
